This channel is dedicated to the family and the love of cooking in the great outdoors. At Smoked Reb BBQ I try to showcase basic BBQ techniques while incorporating my daughter in my videos and have her help me cook.
These BBQ techniques are simple and easy to learn. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions about my equipment, process, and BBQ philosophy. Above all, I am cooking for my family and that is truly what makes BBQ great.
Cheers!

Steakhouse Salad Copycat Recipe from Texas Roadhouse
This is a copycat recipe attempt of the Steakhouse salad from Texas Roadhouse.
I first seared the steak on direct heat to get all sides caramelized before removing the steak from direct heat and letting the steak come up to an internal temperature of 120 degrees (it will continue to rise as it rests). I also used a mixture of butter, garlic powder, and fresh rosemary to paint more flavor on the steak.
For the salad, I used a USDA Prime ribeye steak, iceberg salad mix, cherry tomatoes, bacon bits, croutons, blue cheese crumbles, Italian and blue cheese dressing. This salad was incredible! You have to give this recipe a try.

How to Cook a Wagyu Ribeye Steak!
Переглядів 4496 місяців тому
We received this massive 3lb steak from Snake River Farms and I could not wait longer than a day to cook it up. We used the reverse sear method to ensure we cooked this steak to a perfect medium rare. For those of you who do not know what the reverse method is: Place the steak in the BBQ on low indirect heat. I used 250 degrees for this cook. Once the steak is almost at the desired temperature ...

It was really good!! Thanks for stopping by.
Wow, you are really over doing it with your oil
Lol, perhaps
Hi, great vid, I want to buy a asmoke as350, but my question is what one do I buy with the side rod for the sear part, thanks
Hey, I I only used this version and the AS300 before they were finalized. I'd consult the website for the best answer. Sorry I couldn't answer your question.
ive had my ceramic grill for a couple years now maybe close to three and i always spray it with pam before and after i cook on it. i used it semi regularly, not everyday but at least several times a month. just this past December however i moved and have only used it once for the superbowl game but not since. it is not bad but the grate is still pretty rusty. i am getting ready for the 4th so i pulled it out and have been burning it for a couple hours now letting it get super hot to cook off the caked on stuff and ive dropped the temp and put a thin layer of oil on it. its still rusty, all i have access to right now is just some vegetable oil. i figure i might need to put several coats of oil on it while its hot but i just dont know if that vegetable oil is good enough. i used olive oil when i first got it to season it initially.
Interesting dilemma you got there. I would use vinegar as you scrub the grates. This should ensure that you are getting to the metal and no there is no longer any rust on the grates. I would also suggest to season the grates with bacon grease if you are having trouble finding a heavy duty oil. You also don't have to season the grates in the BBQ, if it'll fit, you could put them in your oven to season. Hope this helps! Cheers!!
Great vids and delicious looking food, new subscriber her, bought a asmoke as300 with a jammed a jammed auger, I have taken that one completely apart to hopefully fix it, but anyway I bought a asmoke as350 in blue color, I noticed on your vids that there is no talk about the water tray where the ash tray is, and by the way I love that option they added along with the rod on the side, not sure if you address the water tray yet and I missed a video on that, thanks for putting in the time to make the vids and hopefully I will get my as300 working, think I have a control board issue, thanks and blessings
Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting! I must apologize for never addressing the water tray in the video. I hope you get it working before summer is over. Good luck!
Looks super delicious brother, awesome cook. 👍🍺💯
Thanks! It was really good. I appreciate you stopping and commenting.
WOW!!!!!!! That looks really delicious😋Looks Award WinningPerfect meal for a HOT Summer Day👍🏻ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
Thanks so much!! It was an amazing steak and salad.
Hits 4.20oz, tell me this person didnt have the munchies
Hahaha
Welp, I know what we're having tonight! Great job, my friend! Cheers!
Yeah! This was such an easy and delicious meal for the family. Cheers!!
Not a good sear. You need to sear that good, in 5 minutes maximum. That way it would be sear outside and medium rare inside. You can tell it is chewy.
Thanks so much for stopping by and providing the feedback. I really appreciate it!
Our personal preference is to also add a little mayo to that delicious sandwich
I was gonna cover the bacon in maple syrup but I completely forgot to. Lol
No words? What did you use? 👎
It was in the description. Warm water, dish soap, and baking soda. Cheers!
This dude looks just like the liquid-metal (antagonist) terminator in Terminator 2
